PERTH Heat squared the Alcohol Think Again series with a 4-2 win over the Adelaide Bite in the final game on Sunday Norwood Oval in South Australia.

The Heat won the first game 6-0 thanks to a stellar performance from starting pitcher Brian Baker.

Brooklyn-born Baker threw seven shutout innings to cool off a red hot Bite batting line-up.

The Bite won the next two games 5-4 and 3-2.

Baker struck out four Bite batters, conceded only one hit and one walk in a dominant performance. There was a lot of action in the bottom of the fourth.

The Heat will play the Canberra Cavalry in their next home series commencing Thursday at 7:20pm at Barbagallo Ballpark.

Overall the Heat are 4-4 and will continue to defend the Claxton Shield.
