Maddington Gosnells Squash Club places in all grades at Mirrabooka Head Classic Junior Squash Tournament

MADDINGTON Gosnells Squash Club enjoyed a superb weekend at the Mirrabooka Head Classic Junior Squash Tournament on Saturday April 22.

The club sent five junior players to compete and all five did their club proud by placing in their respective grades.

Daniel Marsh took out the Division 5 tournament, winning a new racquet in the process.

Bradley Ward and Eric Marsh were both runner-ups in Division 2 and Division 5 respectively, while Jackson Kiely finished third in Division 3.

Jhett Bosshard was a plate-winner in Division 5 to round out the club’s great results.

One of the junior coaches, Jesse Helliwell, was also a plate winner in the adult tournament.

For young people interested in taking up squash, Maddington/Gosnells Junior Squash coaching takes place each Friday of the school term at 1860 Albany Highway Maddington.
