Maddington taekwondo club an upper cut above the opposition

FOR the fourth successive year Taekwondo Oh Do Kwan in Maddington has managed to gain the most gold medals at the National Poomsae Team Selection Championships.

Its 2016 haul also saw the Maddington club gain the highest number of athletes from any one club selected to the national Taekwondo squad.

Kasia Majewski, Carmela Hartnett, Fei Chew, Jet Chew, Shahida Hill, Tahira Hill, Eunice Lau, Brent Bouwhuis and Jason Yoo were all selected to represent Australia at the world championships to be held in Peru in September.
