Masters competitors make indoor move to Cannington for winter

President Fettes Falconer said the Masters trained in summer in the outdoor Armadale pool but would train in Cannington in winter until Armadale had an indoor pool.

At the recent 2013 HBF Open Water Swim Series, its members Gillian Caruso, Heather Croft and Graham Hicks won their age groups.

The club welcomes new members of all skill levels aged 18-plus, and offers a month’s free trial.

Training times are on Tuesdays 6.30-7.30pm, Thursdays 6.45-7.45pm and Saturdays 9-10am at the Leisureplex, corner of Sevenoaks and Wharf streets. Visit armadalemastersswimmingclub.com.
