A WILLTZ Wade hat-trick inspired ARKS Rugby Union Club to a much-needed 35-15 victory over Kwinana at Thomas Oval in the Championship.

Picking up where it left off from the previous week’s battling performance against Southern Lions, ARKS snapped its four game losing streak with a resounding performance.

The move of Wade to the back row proved to be a superb move, with the number 8 scoring three of the visitor’s four tries.

Earlier, ARKS B-Grade side overcame a strong Southern Lions side 19-12 despite playing most of the game with 14 men.

Despite a controversial red card for a high tackle, ARKS regrouped and converted tries to Jardon Hohepa and Manaia Walker put them in control at half time.

Walker added another in the second half as the visitors overcame the sending off to secure a morale-boosting victory.

Elsewhere, ARKS under-20 side went down to Nedlands 46-5.
