SIX local athletes are proving it’s never too late to excel in sport.

Roleystone Women’s Hockey Club’s Delys Palmer, Sue Schryver, Alma Davies, Pattie Davies, Helen Johansen and Dale Kieley have all been selected to represent WA at the upcoming Australian Masters Hockey Championships, five in the Over 65 Women team and Schryver in the Over 60 team.

Club president Lee Jefferies said it was an “incredible achievement” for a small social club of only two teams to have so many players selected for the competition.
