GOSNELLS City’s bid to avoid relegation is alive after it beat Swan United 3-1 at Inglewood Stadium in the second leg of their play-off semi final.
The visitors, who won 6-1 on aggregate, overcame Josh Wade’s early red card to seal a spot in the two-legged final against Morley Windmills, which starts tommorow.
Jordan Parfitt scored twice after Darren Francis’ header opened the scoring to give the Blues a chance of staying in Division 1 next season.

READ NOWGosnells struck early when Francis nodded home Dean Apelgren’s free kick and he almost made it 2-0 soon after, only for Joey Rameo to clear his shot off the line.
However, Wade’s dismissal just before the half hour mark swung momentum to Swan and Luke Colli twice came close to equalising for the hosts.
Gosnells all but sealed the win after half time when Parfitt beat the offside trap and coolly slotted home, although Swan hit back soon after through Steve Shore.
But Parfitt grabbed his second to restore Gosnells’ two goal lead and although Swan pressed late, they were unable to properly trouble City’s defence.
