Pasco received one of two regional targeted coaching scholarships aimed at furthering the growth and development of hard-working coaches.

The Southern River College teacher, who also coaches the South East Demons in the West Australian Netball League, said she was excited to give back to the netball community.

“I can use my new breadth of knowledge gained from the scholarship to help netballers of all abilities,” she said.

Netball WA community general manager Liz Booth said the scholarships would have a positive impact on the game at grassroots level.

“It is wonderful to be able to give these individuals the opportunity to continue to grow and develop so that coaching across the state can continue to flourish.”

Pasco will receive part of a $5000 prize pool shared among the four other winners.
