Bletchley Park students take up wheelchair challenge

Francis CurroComment News

This was part of Wheelchair Sports WA’s program called Wheel LIFE, which is designed to educate students and give them a practical understanding of what it is like to live with a physical disability.

Senior sports teacher Clint McNerney said the reason why the school got the program in was because a student in Year 4 was in a wheelchair and he wanted to educate the students about wheelchair sports and how they can play with him at lunch.

He said the students enjoyed the experience and wanted to see it introduced into their sports carnival.
