Thornlie football clash to provide plenty of talking points

Ben SmithComment News

THE Thornlie Football Club is gearing up for a massive day on and off the field against Noranda Hawks on Saturday.

The second-placed Lions play host to Noranda, who have the same number of points but are two spots below them on percentage, at Thornlie Oval.

Thornlie will be hoping to make it three wins on the trot and keep pace with Kingsley at the top of the table, who are on equal points.

In addition, fans will have the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to the 2017 Toyota AFL Grand Final by coining their best AFL catchphrase as part of the Catchphrase Cup.
