Speaking at Belmont Primary School while running a community camp with Eagles stoppage coach Dean Cox, Partington said he was loving life in WA since being drafted from South Australia.
He was enjoying it so so much he signed a one-year contract extension with the Eagles, even though he has not played a game.
The quick midfielder said he was never going to say no.

READ NOW“The club approached me to sign and I have loved it here, so no hesitation,” he said.
The 18-year-old was taken as the Eagles’ top draft pick in last year’s AFL draft in November with pick number 28.
Despite the heatwave in Perth, the club was still out on the track preparing for the 2016 season.
He said he was happy with the way things were tracking.
“I have been able to get out there most days,” he said.
“The number one thing is to get out there and I am starting to feel the benefits now.”
The Eagles surprised most people by rising up the ladder last year and went to the AFL Grand Final, eventually losing to Hawthorn by 46 points at the MCG.
With all of the Eagles’ key players sticking around, as well as the addition of Lewis Jetta and Jack Redden coming in, Partington is going to find it hard to break into that midfield.
“I am training in the midfield at the moment,” he said.
“Every club has got their senior players who have cemented a sport in the team and it is about waiting for an opportunity and making the most of it.”
The West Coast Eagles will play the first of three pre-season games when they travel to South Australia to take on Adelaide at Unley Oval.
The Eagles will then begin the home and away season with a match at Subiaco Oval on March 27 against the Brisbane Lions.
