Their middle-order chipped in with some important runs, despite a lack of big individual scores, with only David Roberts (34) hanging around.

Aaron Keverne-Onyon finished what he started on day one as he reached 25 not out and hit the winning runs to go with his strong bowling performance.

Meanwhile, Gosnells’ second grade side battled to a draw against their Joondalup counterparts in their two day clash.

Chasing 236 for victory, Alistair Bivens (26) and Daniel Payne (26) looked comfortable early before the pair fell within four runs of each other, leaving Gosnells at 3-52.

From that point on, only Brodee Foster (22) was able to muster a meaningful score, as the remainder of the Gosnells order dug in to salvage a draw.

Their final five batsmen scored 14 runs from 86 balls as they held on to claim a share of the points.

In other results, Gosnells’ third grade side claimed two-day honours over Joondalup thanks to sublime batting performances from Braydon Ridley (124 not out) and Sydney Menezes (87).

They chased down Joondalup’s paltry total of 58 with ease, before declaring on 4-247.
