THE search for a man lost overboard is being hampered by weather conditions, police said on Friday night.
Emergency services are searching for a man who fell from a vessel off the coast of Cockburn at about 3.25pm on Friday.
It’s understood the 33-year-old was trying to retrieve a tender which had become adrift from the yacht.

A spokeswoman for WA Police said: “Police received reports of a man who had been lost overboard from a sailing yacht in Cockburn Sound between Woodman Point and Garden Island.
“Water police, DFES Volunteer Marine Rescue, port authority vessels, police and rescue helicopters have been utilised to search the area,” she added.
“Search efforts are still ongoing but are being severely hampered by weather conditions.”
