Marmion naturopath pleads not guilty to sexually assaulting clients

A MARMION naturopath has pleaded not guilty to 11 charges of sexually assaulting his clients.

Mauricio Ignac Bascunan Cabrera, of Edgewater, appeared in Joondalup Magistrates Court this morning and denied all accusations against him.

Mr Bascunan Cabrera (35) works at his family’s business West Coast Natural Therapies Clinic.

The allegations related to incidents between December 2011 and July 2017.

Police allege Mr Cabrera asked clients to take their bras off and treated them around the breast area when it was seemingly unnecessary.

He also pleaded not guilty to unlawful use of a computer for benefit.

He is next due in court on August 28 for a trial allocation date.

Bail was renewed.
