CITY of Stirling is increasing security at Scarborough Beach Pool after a skateboarder’s dangerous stunt.
Livid Skateboards posted a video on Saturday showing a man’s attempt to skateboard from balustrading into the pool.
He hit the pavement before falling into the pool and is believed to have suffered a broken leg.

READ NOWCommunity development director Trevor Holland said the matter had been reported to police and the City was investigating ways to avoid similar incidents in the future.
“City officers have been working through the weekend to mitigate any further risk as a result of this stunt and additional safety measures are being implemented as a matter of priority,” he said.
“In the meantime, the City is increasing security patrols at the pool site and installing signage to ensure that no further incidents like the one on the weekend occur in the future.
“Despite meeting all appropriate safety codes and regulations, the City will also consider installing a lip along the concave balustrading to increase safety and deter this type of behaviour.”
Livid Skateboards owner Oska Tallis said he was sent the video anonymously.
“Lots of people have looked at (the pool exterior) and wanted to do it,” he said.
“I’ve heard rumours but that’s the first attempt I’ve seen.”
