Coastal Plants of Golden Bay was produced by the school’s botany club students, with help from the Golden Bay Estate, Perth Region Natural Resource Management and the City of Rockingham.
The brochure names and describes 17 native plants found in and around Golden Bay’s coastal dunes and reviews some of the club’s activities during the past year.
It is designed to educate students and the local community about the diverse range of plants along their coastline.
A total of 18 students from years 4 and 5 formed the Golden Bay Botany Club soon after the school first opened its doors at the start of 2015.
