A MOTHER accused of trying to murder her disabled baby by pouring bleach into his formula has been granted bail in Perth and will be transferred to a different mental health facility for further treatment.
Brooke Evelyn Lucas, 26, allegedly tried to poison her 13-month-old son William, who was born with Pierre Robin sequence and needs 24-hour care, on December 29.
She was granted bail when she appeared in Stirling Magistrates Court on Wednesday via video link from the high-security Frankland Centre at Graylands Hospital but cannot contact her children.

Police allege Ms Lucas tried to poison him days after celebrating his discharge from hospital on Christmas Eve where he was treated for bronchitis.
Lucas called it a “Christmas miracle” when William was discharged from PCH following a bout of what she said was bronchitis.
“William has been discharged from PCH and will be spending his first Christmas at home,” she posted on Facebook on December 24.
She is due back in court on March 27.
