PERTH is set to get another summer pop-up bar as the Perth Convention and Exhibition (PCEC) transforms into The Oasis.
Labelled Perth’s newest CBD bar and entertainment precinct, the stylish but laid back open air destination opens tonight and is located at the leafy green summer garden in front of the PCEC.
Run by Terrace Events with the PCEC the pop-up will run until March and patrons will be able to indulge in daily specials including half price food on Wednesdays, acoustic night on Thursdays with south west wine tasting and Cocktail Fridays with an array of $10 cocktails, $20 dozen oysters and Mumm Champagne specials.
It will also feature a Hamptons-style setting with multiple bars including two 22ft custom designed containers, boutique food stalls featuring on weekly rotation, local and national artists and a mix of Perth’s top bands and DJ’s.
The space will be transformed with custom furniture, marquees and also feature an elevated Sky Lounge holding up to 120 guests.
“The Sky Lounge is set to be the ultimate function venue positioned in the heart of The Oasis,” a spokeswoman said.
“Sitting three metres high with full city views, this stunning set up will be the perfect location to host and entertain, with exclusive food and beverage packages on offer from PCEC. Equipped with a private bar, lounge settings, indoor and outdoor spaces, cocktail tables, and festoon lighting, this area will create an incredibly lively ambiance for guests to enjoy.
“Kicking off on the first week at The Oasis will be our Thursday and Friday night official opening featuring live bands, DJ’s, freshly shucked oysters, Mumm champagne bar, red bull pop up, rosé bar, premium cocktails and a vibrant atmosphere.”
