Perth Mess Hall brings first food truck park to Perth

FOOD truck enthusiasts are chomping at the bit with news Perth’s first full-time food truck park will open at the Old Swan Barracks on Friday.

Perth Mess Hall will feature eight rotating food trucks from more than 50 trucks on rotation featuring cuisines from all parts of the world.

Kicking off the culinary journey at 6pm, the first eight confirmed trucks include Easy Kebab, Il Panzerotto, Cariocas BBQ, Frannys Moving Kitchen, Little Dutchies, Sultan Pepper, Big5 Curry Den and Jumplings.

While on the Saturday food trucks Tikka Tango, Sweet StrEats, Thai On Tyres / Jeab Kitchen, The Dirty Swine, Local Kitchen, Pastalicious, Spice Box and Bahn Mizzle will keep foodies satisfied from noon.

On Mother’s Day treat mum to a day out with delights from Rosa’s Recipe, Toast My Curry, Rancho Sombrero, Miam Miam A Bite Of France, Meast – Middle Eastern Street Food, Local Kitchen, The Tapi Truck and the Piadina Bar who will be serving up treats from midday.

The indoor and outdoor venue will also have a full range of beverages on tap from Gage Roads and Matso’s to quench the thirst.

To kick off the weekend organisers are also $1000 worth of food truck vouchers and $100 worth of venue vouchers.
