Adapted from the Jane Austen novel by Jon Jory and directed by Elinor King, Pride and Prejudice features the wit and romance of the 1813 classic channelled into a fast-paced and engaging stage version.
Elizabeth Bennet, played by Stiven, is a complex young woman who does not think marriage is an urgent priority, despite her four sisters, overzealous matchmaking mother and a string of unsuitable suitors.
When she meets Mr Darcy, she is sure she despises him, but after numerous battles of wits, she finds her entire world upside down as the enigmatic man seems more and more appealing.
Stiven described Elizabeth as a strong-willed, opinionated woman.
