DESPITE giving birth to beautiful eight-month old Indiana, Alfred Cove designer Jenna Pruyn is showing no signs of slowing down.

The founder of Jenna Rose Label has been designing since 2016 and was this year inspired to combine her latest summer collection with a matching baby wear range.

Pruyn whose designs have been worn by some of Perth’s most stylish women including singer Samantha Jade and Fremantle Dockers player David Mundy’s wife Sally and captain Nat Fyfe’s partner Elli Brashaw said she wanted to keep growing her label.

“It has been a busy year and balancing a small business and a new baby is challenging but I wanted to make sure I was a great mum and still produced fun new collections,” she said.

“I recently released my Summer Collection and at the same time launched a matching Baby wear range – so far the Baby wear been really well received.”

Describing the new collection as bold and bright and east to wear, Pruyn said she wanted to give her customers something fun and exciting to wear during the warmer months.

“I design and print my own fabric, which adds another element of design into my creations,” she said.

“It is a lot more time and effort to customise your own fabric, but I feel that the results and quality make it worthwhile.

“Indi inspired me to design a matching Baby wear range this season and I have put a huge amount of energy and focus on ensuring the fabric is of a high quality and is gentle and safe for babies too.

“I have also incorporated headbands and scarfs so that Mum’s can match their usual outfit with their baby.

“The headbands and scarfs can also be worn all-year round instead of just being seasonal.”

Pruyn said going forward she wanted to incorporate other avenues of fashion including accessories, sunglasses and jewellery.

“I love design and I’m looking forward to designing other products such as jewellery and sunglasses,” she said.

“I think it is also important to give customers clothes and accessories that can be worn all year round.

“This way my designs can offer year round great value for money and not just seasonal clothes.”
