APPLECROSS designer Sally Geach has designed six bespoke gowns as part of her new label Sally Geach Bridal.

The mother-of-one, who launched the label last week, said she was excited to share the custom gowns after years of dressing Perth brides.

“I now have a collection that is ready-made allowing brides all around Australia to be part of the Sally Geach bride club,” she said.

This collection comes in a full size run allowing brides to try and buy off the rack and is full of my creative flair, with it being feminine, beautiful and strong.”

Drawing inspiration from women, the 27-year-old said the gowns highlighted and complemented the best features of a woman’s body.

“When it comes to the silhouette, I always pull inspiration from the female body, highlighting and complementing the best features,” she said.

“When it comes to the fabric, I’m all about the texture.

“I pull inspiration from flowers and nature, which is a bit of a signature-style for me and can be seen in the lace and beading details.”

Having worked on the label for two years when pregnant with her daughter Charlotte, Geach said the label allowed her the flexibility of being creative while also being a mum to a one-year-old.

“I could only take this on casually, now she’s one I’m really getting into it,” she said.

“I’m looking at expanding and working with new brides and while my studio is from home, I definitely have big plans for a studio space towards the end of the year.

“As well as putting them (the designs) online, I’m looking into a few stores around Perth, over east and overseas.

“I am looking into a few spaces to have open days where brides can come and try the collection on.

“It’s all go, go, go.”
