The Spaniard will jet into Perth and round out the chef line-up that includes MasterChef winner Adam Liaw, Iron Chef winner Herb Faust and pizza king Theo Kalogeracos who will all cook over the four-day festival.
Maestre said he was looking forward to getting back to Perth after a big year, which included travelling to Dubai as part of television show The Living Room and taking part in the Good Food and Wine Show across the country.
He said foodies would be in for a treat and his food demonstration would feature his Spanish personality.
My cooking demonstration will showcase my signature dishes paella a la Maestre and churros con chocolate, Maestre said.
I will be cooking an Aussie classic breakfast the best corn and zucchini fritters and have a few tricks for your barbecue and how to make fresh pasta.
Maestre, whose love of cooking comes from his childhood, said it was a great reward to create something delicious and make someone happy. I love cooking paella as it brings the family and friends together its colourful, healthy, tasty and Spanish; it really defines me as a chef and what I love about cooking, he said.
Keep it simple, use fresh ingredients and dont try and copy anyone else; stay true to yourself.
Garden City retailers will join the culinary experience as they offer customers a vast selection of delicious samples across the four days, including macarons, French wine and cheese, sushi and dim sum.
Shoppers will also experience authentic entertainment from around the world as the Garden City Market Place is transformed into a sea of colour and music with cultural entertainment from all sides of the globe.
