Jean-Guy Laquerre, Canada, has the largest collection of Santa Claus memorabilia, with more than 25,000 items he has been collecting since 1988.

Residents in the American town of Bethel built the largest snowman in 2008, spending one month completing the 37.21m-tall Olympia, who was just a bit shorter than the Statue of Liberty.

The largest Christmas bauble measures 4.58m in diameter and weighs 481kg. The super-sized ornament was created in 2014 for the Forst Brewery’s annual Christmas market in Italy.

Created by Municipality of Agueda in Portugal in 2016, the world’s largest Santa is 21.08m tall, 9.18m wide and 12.62m deep.

The largest gathering of Santa’s elves is 1762 and was achieved by Siam Paragon Development Company Limited in Thailand in 2014.

The largest indoor light bulb display comprises 824,961 bulbs and was created by Universal Studios Singapore in 2016.
