Foodies enjoyed a taste of what can be expected at this year's show, following a demonstration at Subiaco's The Village Bar on Thursday.

They will be appearing with a host of other culinary hotshots including Miguel Maestre, George Calombaris and Alastair McLeod.

Lean said she and Ch'ng were happy to be taking part in this year's Good Food and Wine Show.

Influenced by their backgrounds, the pair said they were fortunate enough to have great cooks in their families, including their parents and grandparents, who had inspired them.

"Food is like a second language in my family," Ch'ng said. "It is the beginning, middle and end to all conversations."

"From a young age, I have been exposed to both Western and Asian cooking styles, especially Singaporean and Malaysian food.

"My dad is a phenomenal cook, as well as my grandma, but they are also my inspiration and they have all taught me to find the joy and love in cooking."

The three-day exhibition will showcase food products and include demonstrations from celebrity chefs, plus feature wine and beer appreciation courses.

The 2015 Perth Good Food and Wine Show is at the Perth Entertainment and Convention Centre from this Friday, July 10 to 12. Visit www.goodfoodshow.com.au.
