Day of feasting and fun

The event, which forms part of Harmony Week, will feature a banquet of world beats and eats and celebrate cultural diversity in a safe and family-friendly environment with live music, dance, vibrant costumes, art and a hawker’s style food market.

Bassendean artist Nami will present a Japanese Wishing Tree as an all- age’s creative art project and everyone is encouraged to join in and make a wish for longevity, good health and prosperity.

Food trucks will cook up a feast of tasty international fare and a line-up of entertainment will include performers including the Miracle Band from China, Tani Walker (Papua New Guinea), Selendang Sutra Dance (Indonesia), Polynesian and Singaporean bands Blue Sky Soul and the Trevor Jalla Quartet and Indian dance troupe JoTHe Bollywood.
