Hart revealed he would be expanding into Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania and had hoped it was the start of a larger plan to reach out into new territories.
‘With a great reception here in WA, it was time to look further afield and we were thrilled to secure representation by well-known Melbourne-based agent and former AFL player Alex Marcou who works with premium menswear labels,’ he said.
‘That opportunity has seen the brand picked up in Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania and I’m looking at branching out into other parts of Australia, as well as New Zealand, where I originally hail from.’
Hart’s summer installation of the range of business and casual dress shirts is an extension of his popular winter collection.
‘Our summer shirts have been given the customary Simon Hart treatment, which has proved very successful so they feature our trademark contrasting fabrics and non-traditional design ideas to give the shirt, and its wearer, that little edge,’ Hart said.
‘The colour combinations are a little riskier and we’re stepping up a notch those things that have given the brand a point-of-difference.’
The new summer range features a complementary collar and cuff fabric inserts and comprises of four shirts in different designs and colours.
