Affectionately known as the ‘Italian mamas’ the cousins have been keeping themselves busy penning their first cookbook Saporito (meaning tasty) launched last month and will take part in this year’s Wine Show By the Bay in Crawley on Saturday.

Morley-based Pirone, who admits to learning everything she knew from her mother’s kitchen, said the last two years had been a crazy ride and one she was hoping would continue for years to come.

‘We have been busy cooking, writing and editing our book and holding lots of cooking demonstrations around Perth and country towns,’ she said.
