The former City Beach resident, who is now based in Sydney, takes over the role from Natalie Imbruglia, whose reign as ambassador ended after four years with the brand.
Joined by Grace Huang and Noreen Carr, the trio form part of the Women of Achievement campaign.
Durack said she jumped at the chance when asked about the opportunity.
I have always been a huge fan of Kailis Pearls, so when they asked me to be an ambassador, I certainly didnt have to think twice, Durack said.
I love that while it is a brand focussed on its beautiful pearls, it stands for even more than that.
It stands for diversity, multiculturalism and is about women working hard towards their dreams, hence this recent Women of Achievement campaign.
I have been fortunate throughout my life to have great family support that has freed me to find my passions and work hard towards making a life out of them and this is a really special treat.
Durak recently gave birth to her first child, Polly, and said she was loving the life-changing experience, but was also dipping her toes back into filming and singing.
