DR Robert Braham hit a high note in his career in 2011.
He joined Perth choral group, Voyces, as conductor and music director and continues to revel in the role today.
“The choir members are all trained musicians but they are also very vibrant and you can get them to memorise the whole concert repertoire and perform exciting stuff,” he said.

“It has a classical and modern feel so it’s popular with the audience and having Emma Matthews – one of Australia’s top operatic sopranos – with us is the icing on the cake,” Braham said.
“Emma used to live in Perth (now Sydney) and I worked with her 25 years ago when she was graduating from WAAPA and singing solos for performances, which we did at Belvoir Amphitheatre and places like that, and then she went on to bigger and better things.”
Braham has led various ensembles for 30 years and thrives in his day job as Trinity College music director, encouraging young men to find their voice.
