THE trainer trend has made waves globally with the fashion crowd for months now, trekking around the globe on catwalks, up high streets and down alleyways.
But it hasn’t run its course just yet.
Hobbs Product Manager Lucy Ahern confirms the humble sneaker will stick around this spring/summer, paired with everyday attire as well as formal outfits.

“We love the trainer trend because trainers are so versatile: they go with pretty much everything and are so comfortable,” Ahern said.
“They can be dressed down or dressed up: they also freshen up a dark outfit in winter where boots can sometimes make an outfit look heavy.
“You can’t go past white and nude for summer trainers worn with feminine dresses as well as those with a hint of glitter, metallic or animal print for more edgy styles.”
