‘This year I will be running the Sunday Farmer’s Lunch as part of my new venture with Katrina Lane of Taste of Balingup and Bella Bushell – Food Land Culture.

‘We are highlighting the local produce and having conversations about food, provenance and what is really going on for farmers.’

The event will include ‘Hunt and Harvest’ gala dinners and lunches, Co-Op dining, masterclasses, wine glass experiences, truffle-hunting, farmers’ markets, demonstrations and other foodie experiences.

Budd said she was looking forward to working with Grossi and local chefs who were passionate about their craft.

She added it was an important weekend for the region as not only would it boost tourism, but also highlight the produce grown in the area.
