The sin-city styled make-over forms part of a month of Vegas-styled food, fun and super-cheesy celebrations with a token Elvis for those wanting to renew their vows.
At gastro-pub The Merrywell, the menu also features Vegas-inspired, limited-time options including heart-|stopping, mouth-watering morsels.
We were able to sample several dishes, which ranged from mac and cheese bites, the Vegas strip steak with duck fat fries and Posillipo al Blue Eyes.
Super-sized with all the trimmings, they all went down a treat, but had nothing on what was to come. The ultimate king sandwich, inspired by Elvis, was a hunk of burning love, complete with honey-fried chicken, peanut butter and banana.
The ultimate oh-so-good artery-clogger was strangely delicious, and in my opinion the dish of the menu it certainly was a devil in disguise.
The donut doubler was another favourite of the night, with the combination of sweet and savoury permeating the dish.
Featuring a juicy double-patty burger topped with bacon and cheddar, it was nestled within a glazed donut so bad, yet so good.
Most Crown Vegas-style promotions are due to end June 7. The Merrywell does not take reservations.
