WHETHER you’re ready to party the night well into the new year or have a wine and dine before the countdown, Perth will be hosting some great events this New Year’s Eve.

Watch the fireworks along the foreshore for a no-fuss celebration welcoming the new year, and catch free public transport home after midnight.

State Buildings in Perth.

Long Chim New Year’s Eve at State Buildings, Perth

Spice up your night at Long Chim in the State Buildings and start the new year with a banquet.

Book a table in the dining room for a feast or drop in for drinks in the courtyard while DJ Korn spins the jams from 9pm.

State Buildings will also host a five-course menu for its 1920s themed dinner Le Prestige.

NYE Vegas Hyde-away at The Adnate – Hyde

From 8pm until midnight, The Adnate – Hyde will be transformed to a glittering party screen straight out of Vegas.

When the clock strikes twelve, the place will go off with a bag with sparklers and confetti.

The NYE pass will include free flow of selected drinks and grazing tables.

Bar Pop NYE Party at Ice Cream Factory, Northbridge

The Bar Pop NYE party will be back for Ice Cream Factory Summer Festival after five sold out years.

More than 4000 people were at last year’s massive celebration in Northbridge, according to Bar Pop.

With six stages, 11 bars and VIP sun decks, the event is set to be another massive hit. Tickets here.

Block Party NYE on Newscastle St, Leederville

The annual Leederville Complex & Newcastle St Block Party will start at 7pm, lasting until 2am in the new year.

Artists will be holding down six stages spread across six venues on Newcastle Street.

Local businesses will take part, including Bill’s Bar and Bites, The Garden, The Blue Flamingo, Babushka Leederville & Little Dance Club.

Foreshore NYE at Supreme Court gardens

Returning to Supreme Court gardens this year, Foreshore NYE is back to party from 7pm until the start of the new year.

Bring your crew along to enjoy a huge selection of beer, wine, champagne and cocktails next to the river views and live tunes.

Origin Fields NYE19 + NYD20 at Wellington Square

Tyler, the Creator will be headlining the New Year’s Eve line up for Origin Fields at Wellington Square.

The two-day event boasts an impressive list of artists in the mix, including The Veronicas and Lion Babe.

Zoochella at Perth Zoo

Perth Zoo will open its gates at 3.30pm on New Year’s Eve for its family-friendly Streets Zoochella event.

Animals will be on display so patrons can explore the zoo until the kids dance party starts at 6pm.

Tickets are $35 and are on sale now.

Seasons at the WA Cricket Association Grounds

Seasons will be hosting their New Year’s Eve event at the WACA Grounds from 5pm until 1am.

The grounds will be customised with multiple stages, outdoor spaces, fireworks and a silent disco. Tickets here.

NYE Dinner Buffet, Duxton Hotel Perth

Enjoy a buffet dinner at Duxton Hotel in Perth from 6pm -9pm on Tuesday.

Located on the lobby level of the hotel, Firewater Grille restaurant will be offering a selection of cold and hot mains with a range of desserts for the buffet.

Bookings are essential and fee is $70 per person.

Old School NYE at Badlands Bar on Aberdeen St, Perth

Badlands Bar will be spouting out 90s and 00s bangers in addition to their silent disco, with three extra channels to pick your favourite tunes.

Old school classics will include the music of Alanis Morissette, George Michael, Queen, The Fugees, TLC, Wham and more.

There will be $10 themed cocktails, free fairy floss and popcorn.

Tickets are $10 each or 4 for $30 for a blast to the past.

Yagan Square Fun Fair, Perth

Entry to the Yagan Square Fun Fair is free with ride tickets starting from $6 and or purchase an unlimited all day ride wristband for $39.

Family and children can enjoy carnival rides, dodgem cars, prize winning sideshow games, food and entertainment.

The fair has been opened since December 18 and will continue until New Year’s Day.

There will be discounted rides and fireworks at midnight this New Year’s Eve.

Ireland NYE party at The Lucky Shag Waterfront Bar on Barrack St Jetty

The Lucky Shag Waterfront Bar wants patrons to bring in the new year with the luck of the Irish.

Say sláinte with whisky cocktails, Irish snacks and live music from Jarrah Celts from 7.30pm.

Tickets are $49 each.
