HONDA has announced pricing for its all-new Civic range ahead of its arrival into dealerships from June.
The five-model Honda Civic range comprises the VTi, VTi-S, VTi-L, RS and range-topping VTi-LX.
The RS is new to the Civic line-up.
It’s a sporty model with an integrated body kit with black grille, LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, sunroof and RS badging.
The VTi starts at $22,390, rising to $33,590 for the range-topping VTi-LX model.
The VTi-S is priced at $24,490; the VTi-L at $27,790 and the RS at $31,790.
Under the bonnet of the new Civic VTi-L, RS and VTi-LX is an all-new 1.5litre twin-cam turbo that generates 127kW/220Nm, while the VTi and VTi-S models stick with Honda’s 104kW/174Nm 1.8litre engine.
Both engines come with ‘Earth Dreams’ CV Transmissions as standard.
Visually, the new Civic has a sleek, swept-back silhouette and sharp, defined face with pronounced wheel arches. The new face is highlighted by a defined wing that runs the full width of the front fascia, flanked by new LED headlights.
There is a lot of high-strength steel, for an ultra-safe body and a quiet cabin.
The Civics also have improved aerodynamics, exceptional luggage space and the latest in-car connectivity available with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity and
