THE Formula Vees again produced the closest racing at Barbagallo Raceway at the weekend, but there was lots of action in other categories.

Lensman Travis Barnes caught the moment the Holden FEs of Gary Crosswell and Stuart Young made contact in the Historic Touring Car race after Crosswell spun into the path of Young. Damage was minor.

Mark Pickett won the Under 1200cc Formula Vee race, with just 10ths of a second separating the front runners, and David Caisley the Under 1600cc category.
