Managing director Damien Scheidel said the first four WA stores would open on June 8, while the company’s Jandakot Airport distribution centre would begin receiving stock from next month.
“We know there is a strong appetite among local residents for an alternative shopping experience and we are eager to show them the difference Aldi can make to both their wallets and their lifestyles,” he said.
Aldi’s long-term plans include opening up to 70 stores across WA, with 20 expected to open before the end of this year.
