Angelhands gets $10,000 grant from the Westpac Foundation

ANGELHANDS has received an early Christmas present – $10,000 from the Westpac Foundation.

The Maylands non-profit founded by Ann O’Neill will use the money to train 2018 Trauma Recovery Angels.

Dr O’Neill said new candidates would attend their first meeting on January 23 and successful candidates trained in February.

“It’s a really good boost at a time of year when most of our clients are not feeling remembered,” Dr O’Neill said.

“This will make them feel like the community is receptive to their needs at a corporate level.”

angelhands was among 22 WA organisations that received the Community Grants.
