THE City of Bayswater is calling on Bayswater’s and the State’s best artists to enter its 2016 Art Award and Exhibition.

Pieces can be oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, printmaking, gouache, charcoal, pencil and in sculpture form.

Mayor Barry McKenna said the City was keen to support and foster the work of local artists.

“In the past, the standard of work submitted to the art awards has been truly outstanding and I am looking forward to seeing another high-calibre exhibition again this year,” Cr McKenna said.

All works must be created no less than 12 months prior to the closing date and must not have been previously exhibited.

The exhibition will be at the RISE in Maylands from November 21 until December 4.

Entries close October 31, for more information go to www.bayswater.wa.gov.au.
