Balga head injury: police want information on incident that left man with laceration

POLICE are investigating an incident in Balga this morning in which a 28-year-old man received a head injury.

About 1.50am, police were called to a Ganfield Way residence.

They were told that a friend of the resident had arrived there with a head injury, a laceration to the back of his head.

He was taken to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for treatment.

It is believed a weapon was used to inflict the wound, although the victim could not confirm what it was.

Police believe the injury was suffered near the intersection of Balga Avenue and Mirrabooka Avenue.
