HOMICIDE Squad Detectives are seeking assistance from the owners of Mercedes-Benz vehicles throughout WA as part of their ongoing investigation into the homicide of 36-year-old man in Balga.

Dejan Dimitrovski was murdered at his Dallington Crescent home on August 4.

Detectives will be visiting the registered owners of 2006-2013 white Mercedes-Benz vehicles with model numbers of ML 350, ML 320 and ML 280 this week.

Homicide Squad Detective Sergeant Brian Connelly said these vehicles were similar to a white Mercedes Benz identified by CCTV in the Dallington Crescent area at the time of the homicide.

“We will be seeking the assistance of the owners of these vehicles in a number of ways,” he said.

“This will include Detectives taking external photographs of their cars, and asking them to answer a simple questionnaire.

“The questionnaire will predominantly focus on asking owners to verify the locations of their vehicles on the evening of the homicide, and who was driving the vehicle at the time.”

A police spokeswoman said owners of these Mercedes-Benz vehicles were not required to take any action, but would be contacted by Homicide Squad detectives this week.
