BALLAJURA Joey Scouts have joined forces with Market Place Ballajura IGA to those in need this month.
IGA donated $100 worth of goods for the group to donate to Salvation Army Balga on August 8.
It is the first time they have collaborated together.
A group spokeswoman said members were taught to care for the environment and others.
“The Joey Scouts are aware that there are people who are less fortunate than themselves and realise at their age they can even make a difference,” she said.
She urged kids aged from six years of age and above to join the Joey Scouts.
