Bashing victim warns revellers

But he says he is still learning to live with the long-term effects of a serious brain injury.

Mr Lyons (26) was attacked by three men in Maylands on his way home from a night out. He was kicked in the head eight times, leaving him in a coma for three weeks. He lost his sense of smell and now has epilepsy because of the attack.

‘Basically I was accosted by three guys who demanded my phone and wallet, which I promptly handed over. But they weren’t satisfied with that so they proceeded to beat me up until I hit the ground,’ Mr Lyons said.
