KIARA Police are searching for a missing 16-year-old Bassendean boy who has not been seen since last week.

Brayden Samuel Macrone was last seen getting off a train at Bassendean train station between 2pm and 2.30pm on July 25.

Police believe that the boy had no phone and no access to money.

He was described as fair-skinned, between 183cm and 185cm tall with a slim build and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue, checkered, long-sleeved flannel shirt, black track pants, pink and red running shoes and carrying a green fluorescent backpack.

Kiara Police officer-in-charge Mark Stoneman said the boy was missing from Bassendean and police would continue the search.

“We have done inquiries Perth-wide looking for him at different addresses so far but we have not actually found him,” he said.

“They are continuing their inquiries and checking with relatives, other family members and friends.”

A Swan Districts spokesman said the boy was not involved with the club but believed he could have attended a youth group run by the Town of Bassendean held under the grandstands at Bassendean Oval.
