The bridge, with more hits that ABBA went a record 66 days between smashed, but today the counter on howmanydayssincebayswaterbridgehasbeenhit.com clocked back to zero.

It will be seen if this is the last collision of 2018 and Perth truckies will have to step on it if they want to beat 2017’s record of 11 times 2014’s record of 15.

The bridge has more than 17 low clearance signs that warn road users of the 3.8m underpass and are located on the bridge and on the approaches to the bridge.

In 2014 an $80,000 LED lighting system was installed on the bridge, but despite all this, trucks keep hitting it.
