Bayswater: council to consider providing drinking water facilities for dogs at exercise areas

BAYSWATER City Council will consider spending nearly $100,000 to provide drinking water facilities for dogs at its reserves. At this month’s council meeting, the council decided to consider the allocation of $32,500 across three financial years.

In 2016-17, priority will be for the installation of drinking fountains with dog bowls at dog exercise areas more than 2ha currently not providing drinking water.

Dog bowls in the remaining areas are set to be included over the following two years.
