BONSAI Society WA has joined forces with a Morley art group and floral arrangement group for its annual celebration event at YMCA Morley Sport and Recreation Centre.

The Art Bonsai Ikebana Celebration, sponsored by health campaigners Act-Belong-Commit, will be held during Seniors Week and will feature artworks, selected bonsai, Japanese floral arrangements and live demonstrations.

Bonsai Society of WA vice-president Nigel Atkinson said this year would be the fifth event held in Morley, after stints in Leederville and Fremantle during the society’s 41-year history.
