Bunnings Bayswater to celebrate opening

THE new Bunnings Warehouse in Bayswater will be hosting fun activities following an official opening event in April.

The store, located at 245 Collier Road, Bayswater, opened on March 23.

There will be an official opening event for the team and community groups on April 4.

During the April school holidays, children can take part in activities including face painting, rides, animal farms and a jumping castle.

Children’s characters Tiny from Dinosaur Train and Minions Stuart and Jorge will be visiting the store.

Complex manager Patrick Kelly said the team were excited to celebrate the opening with the community.

“Our team members have worked extremely hard to prepare the store for opening and are looking forward to helping customers with their home improvement projects, as well as providing free DIY workshops for adults and kids,” he said.

Free workshops for kids and adults will be held every weekend.

Meanwhile, a Bunnings spokeswoman confirmed the Morley store would be staying open, despite initial plans to close the store after Bayswater opened.
