During the April school holidays, children can take part in activities including face painting, rides, animal farms and a jumping castle.

Children’s characters Tiny from Dinosaur Train and Minions Stuart and Jorge will be visiting the store.

Complex manager Patrick Kelly said the team were excited to celebrate the opening with the community.

“Our team members have worked extremely hard to prepare the store for opening and are looking forward to helping customers with their home improvement projects, as well as providing free DIY workshops for adults and kids,” he said.

Free workshops for kids and adults will be held every weekend.

Meanwhile, a Bunnings spokeswoman confirmed the Morley store would be staying open, despite initial plans to close the store after Bayswater opened.
