Board chairman and Cyril Jackson Senior Campus Education Support Centre principal Paul Jones said the event was originally aimed at school leavers but now it catered for all ages.

“Visitors can meet service providers and learn about options ranging from jobs, training and education to accommodation and respite, therapy supports, recreation, community supports, advocacy, and equipment and technology,” he said.

“It started in Forrest Chase but because of the growth in numbers, it is now held at Crown to make it more accessible to people with disabilities and their families and carers.”

He said the goal for the next 15 years was to continue to grow and include all services for people with disabilities.
