Camboon Primary students learn importance of saving water

CAMBOON Primary School students got a visit from the Water Corporation and the Department of Water recently to teach them about the importance of being waterwise in a drying climate.

The visit to the Noranda school was part of National Water Week.

Camboon PS Waterwise Schools program co-ordinator Tania Pesce said water education was part of the curriculum across all year levels.

The school also hosted a blue dress-up day during National Water Week to raise money for the Angkor Project, which helps schools in Cambodia.
